Nike Classic Cortez Leather
This athletic shoe was first introduced by track coach Bill Bowerman back in 1972 and later had its re-birth in 2016. If Bowerman doesn’t appeal to you, there is another famous person who’s been associated to the sneaker.
You guessed it!
It’s the shoe Forrest Gump decided to take for a “little run”.
The Nike Classic Cortez leather has since launch been an obvious choice for many sneaker fanatics with its minimalist design, unwavering comfort and durable materials. With that said it is also a very versatile shoe which makes it a good everyday option.
Talking from my own perspective as well as friends, it’s very light shoe contributing to a great walking experience. It is also easy to clean and has a reasonable price tag. Although worth mentioning, it is said to have a tight fit. It’s nothing thats bothered me and my feet are relatively wide but I know people thats been complaining about its tightness. Therefore the Nike Classic Cortez might not be a good option if you’re a person with extra wide feet.
The shoe is available for both men and women in a great variety of colours such as white/black, sail/gunsmoke and the classic white/varsity red/varsity royal. The white, red and blue model is currently starting at 44$ for women and 59$ for men.
